Pennywise-Robot Hybrid AI Art Makes Stephen King’s Killer Clown Even More Terrifying?

It is 2017’s Pennywise is reimagined as a robot in the terrifying new AI industry. The character, a shape-shifting evil entity that lurks in the sewers and terrorizes the townspeople of Derry, Maine, originated in the 1986 Stephen King novel of the same name. On Instagram, user Liam Crowl posted an AI art design that imagines it isPennywise as a mechanical menace.

The film gives Skarsgård’s Pennywise a sharper and more metallic outfit as well as bright red eyes. According to Crowl’s caption, the AI-generated piece is “part of an exploration ofThe intersection of technology and creativity“Using its AI origins to further highlight its quirky nature.

One of the scariest elements of Pennywise’s character is how it can change its shape to best torment whoever its current victim is. For example, it turns into a leper while chasing hypochondriac Eddie Caspbruck, and turns into a werewolf, a mummy, a crawling eyeball, and even the dead baby Georgie Denborough over the course of the story. Pennywise is the most common form of this because of how creepy the average child finds the clown, but it has a variety of creepy forms.

This means that Pennywise actually has the ability to look like this robotic AI image if it so chooses. So far, however, the character has not embodied this type of mechanical entity in any version of the story. Generally, its forms are better to be more organic, realistic and disgusting.
