Shortly after the release of the series, police reportedly visited the Duggar compound for unknown reasons.
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s police report was leaked and revealed that the visit was in response to a death in the family. TMZ obtained the documents, which state that Jim Bob’s 75-year-old uncle, Tommy Lester, died suddenly at his home. The police were dispatched about two hours after the tragic incident “Follow-up investigation” Jim is at Bob’s house. Tommy’s husband, Lawrence Nestrud, told police that Tommy had fallen several times earlier in the day but refused to seek medical help for fear of being forced into assisted living. According to the outlet, the report stated that Lester’s death was not suspicious and was the normal result of cardiac arrest.
