Taking the famous India-Pakistan love story of Tara Singh and Sakina, Gadar d All set to release within the next two months. While the makers decided to unveil a teaser on the film’s 22nd anniversary earlier this month, they also decided to give glimpses of popular songs from the film, which have been recreated. After unveiling the song, Dr ‘Udja Kale Kawa’ Featuring Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel, the next song to be launched is the popular folk number ‘Maya Nikla Gaddi Leke’. In a private conversation with Dr Bollywood HungamaFilmmaker Anil Sharma has confirmed about recreating Lok Noam.

Responding to rumors about ‘Maya Nikla Gaddi Leke’ Rebuilding for Gadar dAnil Sharma said Bollywood Hungama, “Aksar Folk Song Liye Jaate Hai Filmon Mein, Lekin Yeh Pehla Song Hai Jispe Folk Song Bane Hai. Aaj Sab Jag: Rajasthan Mein Ye Gan Bajaya Jata Hai. (Often we see how folk songs are recreated for films but in this case, a film song is being used as a folk song in many parts of the country. In Rajasthan, you will hear the song in every corner). It is a great achievement by Uttam Singh and Anand Bakshi.”
“In fact, Mithun, who has done another version for the upcoming film, the sound and music used in it is quite modern and young. Unke saath when hum tara, sakina, aur is song ko vakanti hai to aisa ek feel ata hai ki hum yadan ki jhulle me jhul rahe hai, anand hi hilorine le rahein hai. (When you watch the song with Tara and Sakina’s chemistry, you will surely get nostalgic and walk down memory lane),” added Sharma.
Moreover, he ended by expressing gratitude for the audience’s love Gadar and film songs. He asserted, “Yeh gaan mera na hai, yeh public ka gana hai, aur public isse enjoy kar rahi hai (It’s not my song. It’s the public’s song and they’re just enjoying it).”
Gadar d Utkarsh Sharma (who played their son two decades ago) will once again play Jeet alongside Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol. The film is expected to be set in 70s India, twenty years after Tara Singh and Sakina reunited in the 2001 film.
